Vaccines

A couple of weeks ago I visited a doctor to advice me on what vaccines to take before leaving.
Since I had taken vaccine for hepatitis A and B before I "only" had to take for Yellow fever, Japanese encephalitis, Typhoid fever and Rabies. Plus some medicine for my stomach and for Cholera.
But the most problematic of all diseases is of course malaria. There are different pills and you have to take
them during the time you are in a high risk area. Next up on the schedule are three rabies shots..

Welcome to my blog

In August next year I will be heading out on a adventure of a lifetime.
The goal is to cycle around the world, through five continents. The journey
will take approximately 3 to 4 years. Maybe it will take me 3 years or maybe
longer, but the purpose of the trip is not to be the fastest. It is to enjoy
myself and experience as much as I can.
When I first started to plan for this adventure it was not about the bicycle,
It was about experience other cultures and to meet people and to see how they
live there everyday life in countries you wouldn't normally visit on vacation.
During this expedition I will document my endeavours on my website in my
blog and with videos and photos.
Hopefully you would like to follow me on this journey through my blog and videos.
To live through my highs and lows and at the end see me finish this adventure
and complete my circumnavigation around the globe...
